About this artwork
This is one of my more playful and experimental works. It started with a simple observation: shadows cast by the chairs and table on my balcony floor during a sunny afternoon. Fascinated by the interplay of light and shadow, I began to explore a series of “what if” questions.
First, I asked, “What if I used only two opposite colors?” Then, “What if I inverted the colors like a photo negative?” And finally, “What if I made it BIG?” The result is… a bold departure from my usual style, full of vibrant contrasts. A fun twist—if you take a photo of this painting and invert the colors using software like Photoshop, you’ll see the scene as it would appear in normal lighting. I’ve even included a sample for you to try!
“Psychedelic Balcony” is a piece that stands out, not just in size and color, but in the way it captures the joy of experimentation and discovery. It comes unmounted very carefully packed in a heavy PVC tube to protect it and ensure it will reach you safely.

Born to Greek parents in Cameroon and shaped by a life across different cultural environments, his work reflects a sustained interest in boundaries. Between visible and invisible, private and public, control and emergence.
After more than two decades in graphic design and illustration, he turned fully to painting in 2013. This background remains visible in the precision of his compositions and the clarity of his visual structure.
He develops each painting through a process that moves from digital construction to direct execution. The result is a controlled balance between intention and unpredictability, where each image holds tension without forcing resolution.
