About this artwork
In 2013 when she started to paint, she loved ending up covered in paint and this painting did just that ! It’s rather large and as she poured and twirled it took on a life of it’s own. Every time you look at it you will see more. She finished it with 100’s of Swarovski crystals and whether it’s sunlight or moonlight that reflect the crystals, it’s magical. Sides painted, back is a bit of a mess as i played with colors to use.

« Art appreciation is truly in the eyes of the beholder. When my work touches someone's soul, then I have truly accomplished my goal. »
Monique J Dufour is a Canadian self-taught artist based in Spain, who has exhibited her work throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. Whilst on a trip to France in 2013, she picked up a paintbrush and never looked back, now busying herself daily with her luminous, intriguing abstract compositions. Dufour is guided by divine energy and the thrill of creativity, and seeks primarily to move others through her artistic practice.
