This is my interpretation. This description is not AI generated. I have entitled it “Vincent” because on the original position that I painted it, I saw Vincent. Orange dominating the profile of his face, as well as his well defined shoulder and top part of his chest. He must have been standing beneath the night sky, and a bird who should have been sleeping, swooshed in front of his face. A flutter of feathers ensued. When I rotate the painting I…

Monique J Dufour is a Canadian self-taught artist based in Spain, who has exhibited her work throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. Whilst on a trip to France in 2013, she picked up a paintbrush and never looked back, now busying herself daily with her luminous, intriguing abstract compositions.
