Architectural steps lead into the Indian ocean from the shores of South Africa. Nadia has added masks and layers to remove the photographic sharpness from the shadows and and from the main blocks of colour, so that only the adjoining lines remain sharp adding to the graphic composition. Her original photography is collaged using paint, chalk and pencil overlaid to produce the final limited edition artworks.
