About this artwork
In this work, I depict life as a patchwork. I'm not painting a real city, but rather a coexistence of diverse forms, colors, and stories. Each house represents a unique life, each layer experience, memory, and change. Nothing is perfectly ordered, yet everything belongs together. For me, this living patchwork symbolizes how closeness arises: not through uniformity, but through the acceptance of difference.
This work is for people who live in or… understand blended families, for people with a migration background, for everyone who values diversity, new ways of living, and a lived community. It is aimed at viewers who see themselves as part of a larger whole – grown, composed, and alive.
