About this artwork
Hide and Seek is part of a collection of six paintings on the theme of childhood games.
The use of geometric shapes and semi-abstract and raw styles with a touch of cubism, create an intriguing visual dialogue.
The vivid colors and diverse patterns, created using mixed media (acrylic, gouache, oil pastels, and chalk), evoke a spirit of freedom filled with energy, like that of a child in a playground, while giving the subject a totemic, almost royal… aspect.
Here, the protagonist is a bird-like Pop Monster. He wears an eye patch with the game's inscription. With his feet in the flowery grass, he sets off in search of his friends with enthusiasm and joy.
This painting brings an explosion of joy and colorful memories, perfect for revitalizing any space.

Transposing his pain onto the canvas with colorful, funny, and sparkling characters, his highly colorful work is appreciated like a bubble of happiness, seeking to ignite joy and childlike innocence in the viewer. The power of art to heal and smile at life is at the heart of his approach.
