Omphale Forhan is a painter and art therapist, trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Blois, with degrees in Art History and Cultural Mediation, and a passion for textiles and haute couture. She works with oil paints applied with a palette knife, acrylics, collage, resin, and India ink, blending figuration and lyrical abstraction, sometimes adorned with gold leaf. A vibrant colorist, she explores sensuality, identity, the sacred, movement, and the universality of the body, creating works where the power of emotions is embodied in matter, triggering a profound and poetic resonance in the viewer.
