Paolo Cristiani, born in Milan in 1956, is an engineer and General Manager of a biomedical research consortium. A professional photographer in the 1980s, he uses photography, painting, and sculpture to explore the human journey and the emotions of places of transit, drawing inspiration from Calvino's literature. His techniques range from photographic realism to figurative painting and wood and terracotta sculpture, always seeking to capture moments of life and personal feelings.
