About this artwork
Like all my works, each photograph is hand printed in the darkroom. The negatives are individually manipulated and once the print is made the photograph is then bleached and toned, using two different toners. When I tone I judge the times with my eyes, not the clock. So each image, although from the same negative may look totally different from the next, making each photograph unique.
The size mentioned is the outer frame size, image size is 25cm… x 25cm, this size and the smaller 16cm sizes are from an "Édition Variée" and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Larger prints are from editions.
