About this artwork
Vibrant colors of gold, pinks, greens, yellows and oranges capture the beautiful urban oasis Descanso gardens in California.
The artist sought to capture the essence of a garden, but does so in a fragmented, and abstract manner. The painting features marks that suggest the movement and energy of nature.
The deconstructed nature of the painting invites the viewer to look at the garden in a new and imaginative way, to see beyond the surface of things… and to explore the inner workings of the garden. The abstract elements of the painting suggest the complex and interconnected relationships that exist within a garden, and the beauty and diversity of life that it supports.
Comprised of 2 canvas panels each side is 60h x 48w making the overall dimensions 60 x 96. Diptych is shipped un-stretched in a tube accompanied with individual certificates of authenticity.
Images in-situ may not be to scale. Framing shown in some photos is for visualization purposes only.
« Art making is challenging as is life in general. The difference between the two is that the art maker gets to control the outcome. »
