About this artwork
This Scottish trawler, registered in Stornoway is returning through heavy seas with its catch of fish caught in the rich fishing grounds off the Outer Hebrides. An original and quite unique painting with the power of the sea portrayed through lively and energetic brushwork whilst the boat painted with detail and attention to depict the character of this type of sturdy working vessel.
