About this artwork

This piece was commissioned for a client in Rome. She wanted me to produce a piece reflecting the vibrancy and excitement she felt from her time living in London, when she was a lecturer of the Chelsea College Of Art.
Drawn to the dynamic style of my cityscapes and the multilayered, shapeshifting nature of the stencilled details, she felt it was the perfect to capture the changing and bustling nature of the city.
My fragmented take on the architecture… was to show the energy of London, and to document sense of colour and excitement of being there. The nature of my style, wild and focused was to capture the exciting core of a landscape that never sleeps and is always evolving, yet preserving the iconic parts of it’s history.
