About this artwork
This painting holds a special place in my heart - I was working on it throughout my 1st solo exhibition, and it emerged from a photograph my dear friend captured at one of my favourite beaches.
As I painted those divine rays breaking through the clouds, I found myself meditating on what it means to await enlightenment - not just with knowledge, but with gratitude for all we have received and faith in all we will receive. This painting captures… that sacred waiting, that beautiful tension between asking and receiving, between seeking and finding.
