About this artwork
I descend slowly towards the light, thread by thread.
At the top, I was dense, knotted, heavy with everything I still carry. A dark, compact, almost animal mass. I belonged to it as to a root impossible to uproot.
But the more I let myself slide, the more I unravel. I stretch, I thin, I fragment, as if I were gradually losing what was holding me back.
In the white space that awaits me, I feel a vast and almost gentle silence.
I am moving towards… what has not yet taken form, towards what is wild, unexplored. I finally feel myself in motion. I am what is happening.
