About this artwork
The drawing is built up through repeated gestures until the surface is saturated. The material thickens, darkens, resists. My control shifts from intention to endurance. I push the gesture beyond comfort, beyond balance, until the drawing begins to act on its own. The hand follows the tension rather than the decision. The overflow marks the point where restraint fails—where the force exceeds what the surface, and the body, can contain.
With this… charcoal drawing, I wanted to capture the tumultuous energy of an inner force in perpetual motion. Each stroke expresses an intense, almost raw emotion, like a raging torrent. This abstraction expresses the quest for balance at the heart of chaos, and I hope this work infuses your home with a vibrant and profound dynamism.
