About this artwork
"IT'S A SIMILAR AUTO OBJECT, QUITE IRREGULAR"
This is a large "golf ball", 60 centimeters in diameter, itself composed of
700 golf balls.
It is a self-similar, rather irregular object, which can be classified under the Fractal Art category.
Indeed, by a homothety of ratio 14, we go from a golf ball to the spherical object in
its entirety.
"THE SPHERE HAS A NON-DEVELOPABLE SURFACE"
The position of the balls is however slightly stochastic, because… the sphere has a
non-developable surface, this can be likened to a phenomenon of dislocation of atoms
in metal, like when bending an iron bar.
The light emanating from the work allows for a continuous transition effect between the colors
primary.
