About this artwork
In 2021, I spent most of my time in my studio trying to make sense of what was happening in the world. I created this drawing and the others in the series in a dreamlike state. It was a unique experience. I remember sitting there day and night, working frantically and discussing art. It was then that I became aware of my interest in storytelling. Now, a few years later, I am writing the account of my travels in Egypt and Sudan. This series, although…
