About this artwork
With passion I have captured in this work a universe of textures and colors that invites reflection. I used acrylics and resin pigments to capture the ephemeral beauty that surrounds us. Each detail symbolizes the delicacy and strength in nature, evoking the pure and vibrant essence of life in the space it is immersed in.
The work is inspired by a huge pink lagoon of 1,400 hectares located in the Lagunas de la Mata y de Torrevieja Natural Park,… in Spain.
The title of the work refers to a thin layer of salt that forms on the surface of the seawater of the maritime salt flats and which in this work of art is represented by the pinkish-white area that surrounds the pink lake with circular shape.

Pin Vega makes and carves the supports and frames for his own paintings. He also makes his own paints by agglutinating top-quality pigments with water or different types of resins and incorporates mineral elements and scaled figures to oversize his work and make us, the viewers, feel like we are contemplating it like a God contemplating his creation from above.
