I have created this work with a deep sense of metaphysical exploration, using acrylic, resins and pigments on wood to capture an almost dreamlike beauty. In this creation I wanted to pay… tribute to moss, a plant that I have admired so much since childhood.
Moss is one of the first terrestrial colonizers of the earth that works in nature as an air filter; It stores polluting particles, transmuting them into nutrients.

Pin Vega is an award-winning painter, sculptor and photographer whose works have been featured in solo and group exhibitions in the United States, Germany, Portugal, Belgium as well as in his native Spain. His Pictosculptures, as he calls them, are found in different collections around the world and have created a trend. His art brings to life the 'invisible forces of Mother Nature', using natural elements to produce a 'new natural reality'.
Pin Vega makes and carves the supports and frames for his own paintings. He also makes his own paints by agglutinating top-quality pigments with water or different types of resins and incorporates mineral elements and scaled figures to oversize his work and make us, the viewers, feel like we are contemplating it like a God contemplating his creation from above.
