About this artwork
This work is my exploration of materiality and emotions. I use acrylic and pigments to create a piece that defies realism with a personal touch. It represents the intricate connections of our lives and how they intertwine, bringing a vibrant and uplifting energy to any space. It reflects the passion and depth of human bonds, enveloping the viewer in its tangible texture.
This work appears inhabited by a human presence.
This is a tiny figure on… a 1:220 scale. Scale is a crucial part of the work's content, as it allows it to appear oversized. Nature is then revealed in its true dimension.
Thus, the observer will become like a God who contemplates his creation from above; and the "little observer" will, in turn, become an "observed observer."

Pin Vega makes and carves the supports and frames for his own paintings. He also makes his own paints by agglutinating top-quality pigments with water or different types of resins and incorporates mineral elements and scaled figures to oversize his work and make us, the viewers, feel like we are contemplating it like a God contemplating his creation from above.
