About this artwork

Beaches and the ocean are close to Rina’s heart. As an avid snorkeler, living close to the Cape coast, she finds inspiration and joy in and on the water. The colours at the beach change all through the day, the energy ebbs and flows with the tide and the people come and go, in an endless cycle.
Rina feels blessed to be in one of the world’s most breathtakingly beautiful settings. The majestic slopes of Table Mountain that drop away into the deep… blue Atlantic, with beaches of powdery white sand, is the inspiration for this artwork. The blue, turquoise, and earthy colours in mixed media, portray the beauty of Cape Town’s beaches.
