About this artwork
Rina, who lives in South Africa with its intense summers and long dry spells, was deeply moved by a poem by DP the Poet. Inspired, she created an artwork using soft, airy strokes of white, grey, blue, and beige oils to reflect the emotions the poem evoked in her.
