About this artwork
I love walking in the forest, especially in Hareskoven, an old forest near where I live.
A small ravine caught my attention, and a little later I saw the wonderful amethyst hats. There was no traffic noise, no people to be heard. Even the birds were silent. I sat on a rock for a while, feeling the calm intense energy of the forest and watching the play of light. Then I took a few photos so I had something to start a painting from.
As I walked further… a little later, I saw the wonderful amethyst hats.
