“Connected Separated” explores the tension between individuality and community.
As social beings, we depend on one another – separated by names, origins and history, yet connected by common desires, needs and hopes.
In intertwining lines and faces, these opposites condense into a multi-voiced web. The work demonstrates that proximity and distance, belonging and demarcation, are inextricably interwoven—like lines that touch and then separate again.
