About this artwork
This artwork reflects the dialogue between present and past memories through color, form, and stitch.
The bright window represents the clarity of the present — moments that are vivid and alive — while its faded reflection below signifies memories that linger quietly, softened by time yet never lost. The red thread of embroidery connects the two, symbolizing the invisible ties that bind our experiences across time. The subtle red dot marks a singular,… significant moment from the past — one that continues to stand out amidst fading recollections.
With its layered blues and stitched details, the work evokes a contemplative sense of continuity between what is remembered and what remains.
This series isn't just about what we see, but about what we hold within us - the invisible ties of memory, love and time.
Nature, to me, is not merely a subject but an emotional landscape. My work explores fleeting, often overlooked moments where light, texture, and stillness converge to create something deeply felt. Drawn to flowers, leaves, water, and subtle atmospheric shifts, I use acrylics, watercolours, and occasionally cotton threads to build layered compositions rich in emotion and texture. A recurring theme in my practice is the exploration of women and flowers, inspired by everyday scenes of women adorned with flowers in quiet, unguarded moments. Over time, these works have evolved from simple observations into introspective narratives, where the female figure becomes a vessel for memory, silence, emotion, and human connection. Through my work, I seek to create contemplative spaces that invite viewers to pause and reconnect with quiet beauty.
