About this artwork
In this evocative work, I have explored the delicate connection between past and present memories through layered textures, colour and thread.
The composition transitions from deep purples and earthy browns symbolizing the fading traces of the past, toward a luminous golden-yellow center that embodies clarity and light-the essence of the present. Ethereal white memory bubbles drift across the canvas, evoking fleeting recollections suspended in time.… A single yellow embroidered thread meanders through these moments, binding them in continuity, while tiny stitches punctuate the path-each stitch representing a vivid, unforgettable fragments of memory.
The warm, radiant palette infuses the piece with a quiet optimism, suggesting that even as memories blur and merge, they remain tenderly stitched into the fabric of our being.
This series isn't just about what we see, but about what we hold within us - the invisible ties of memory, love and time.
Nature, to me, is not merely a subject but an emotional landscape. My work explores fleeting, often overlooked moments where light, texture, and stillness converge to create something deeply felt. Drawn to flowers, leaves, water, and subtle atmospheric shifts, I use acrylics, watercolours, and occasionally cotton threads to build layered compositions rich in emotion and texture. A recurring theme in my practice is the exploration of women and flowers, inspired by everyday scenes of women adorned with flowers in quiet, unguarded moments. Over time, these works have evolved from simple observations into introspective narratives, where the female figure becomes a vessel for memory, silence, emotion, and human connection. Through my work, I seek to create contemplative spaces that invite viewers to pause and reconnect with quiet beauty.
