About this artwork
This piece captures the delicate balance between nature’s fragility and resilience. I have tie d the painted world together much like how our lives are stitched with memories, both past and present.
The colours-warm tones echoing joy and celebration, soft hues holding nostalgia and darker shades whispering of silence and reflection. The small yellow embroidered leaves and buds seem to grow directly from this layered surface, suggesting how new experience… always emerge from old foundations. The red stitched leaf and spiral add another dimension, almost like symbolic imprints of moments that stay etched deeply.
Together, colour and thread become a language of feeling - some moments tender, others bold and unforgettable. This series isn't just about what we see, but about what we hold with us - the invisible ties of memory, love and time.

Nature, to me, is not merely a subject but an emotional landscape. My work explores fleeting, often overlooked moments where light, texture, and stillness converge to create something deeply felt.
Drawn to flowers, leaves, water, and subtle atmospheric shifts, I use acrylics, watercolours, and occasionally cotton threads to build layered compositions rich in emotion and texture.
A recurring theme in my practice is the exploration of women and flowers, inspired by everyday scenes of women adorned with flowers in quiet, unguarded moments. Over time, these works have evolved from simple observations into introspective narratives, where the female figure becomes a vessel for memory, silence, emotion, and human connection.
Through my work, I seek to create contemplative spaces that invite viewers to pause and reconnect with quiet beauty.
