About this artwork
In this mixed media painting, I have explored the interplay of memory and time through colour, texture and thread. The luminous yellow on the left evokes the vivid immediacy of the present, where each flower blooms in full form and colour symbolizes clarity and vitality. The transition into the deep violet tones suggests the quiet fading of the past - where memories linger only as soft embroidered outlines, fragile yet enduring.
The red thread stitches… embodies the invisible emotional connection that binds moments across time.

Nature, to me, is not merely a subject but an emotional landscape. My work explores fleeting, often overlooked moments where light, texture, and stillness converge to create something deeply felt.
Drawn to flowers, leaves, water, and subtle atmospheric shifts, I use acrylics, watercolours, and occasionally cotton threads to build layered compositions rich in emotion and texture.
A recurring theme in my practice is the exploration of women and flowers, inspired by everyday scenes of women adorned with flowers in quiet, unguarded moments. Over time, these works have evolved from simple observations into introspective narratives, where the female figure becomes a vessel for memory, silence, emotion, and human connection.
Through my work, I seek to create contemplative spaces that invite viewers to pause and reconnect with quiet beauty.
