About this artwork
In this work, I have explored the delicate balance between past and present memories, translating emotional connections into visual form.
The intricate orange embroidery thread becomes a tangible metaphor for memory - fragile yet enduring - bridging moments that once were with those still unfolding.
The deep blue background, patterned with rhythmic geometric motifs, evokes a sense of stability and continuity, much like the unchanging essence of… memory itself. Against this, the lively greens of the stems and leaves introduce vitality and renewal - a symbol of growth emerging from reflection. The blue anchors the viewer in introspection, while green invites hope and new beginings.
The work stands as a meditation on how memories root, twist and evolve - never static, always interwined.
This series isn't just about what we see, but about what we hold within us - the invisible ties of memory, love and time.
Nature, to me, is not merely a subject but an emotional landscape. My work explores fleeting, often overlooked moments where light, texture, and stillness converge to create something deeply felt. Drawn to flowers, leaves, water, and subtle atmospheric shifts, I use acrylics, watercolours, and occasionally cotton threads to build layered compositions rich in emotion and texture. A recurring theme in my practice is the exploration of women and flowers, inspired by everyday scenes of women adorned with flowers in quiet, unguarded moments. Over time, these works have evolved from simple observations into introspective narratives, where the female figure becomes a vessel for memory, silence, emotion, and human connection. Through my work, I seek to create contemplative spaces that invite viewers to pause and reconnect with quiet beauty.
