About this artwork
In this painting I have explored the dialogue between past and present memories through colours, texture and thread.
The earthy browns and yellows evoke nostalgia and groundedness, while the vibrant greens and purples above suggest renewal and emotional depth. The white embroidered threads radiating from the center symbolize the delicate yet enduring connections that weave memories together across time.
The rhythmic patterns at the base represent… the structure of lived experience - repetitive yet evolving.
At the heart, the glowing center emanates warmth and light, reflecting how memories, though layered and shifting, remain luminous within us.
In this work, I have made memory itself as the subject.

Nature, to me, is not merely a subject but an emotional landscape. My work explores fleeting, often overlooked moments where light, texture, and stillness converge to create something deeply felt.
Drawn to flowers, leaves, water, and subtle atmospheric shifts, I use acrylics, watercolours, and occasionally cotton threads to build layered compositions rich in emotion and texture.
A recurring theme in my practice is the exploration of women and flowers, inspired by everyday scenes of women adorned with flowers in quiet, unguarded moments. Over time, these works have evolved from simple observations into introspective narratives, where the female figure becomes a vessel for memory, silence, emotion, and human connection.
Through my work, I seek to create contemplative spaces that invite viewers to pause and reconnect with quiet beauty.
