About this artwork
NB: The work is framed as shown in the photos. The size of the work, including the frame, is approximately 80 x 100 cm.
I created this work using steel spheres from mechanical processing scraps, small pieces of broken glass, and sand. Materials that, in their everyday, fragile nature, I wanted to transform into something precious: an icon of elegance and power, the Aston Martin.
A car that for many represents a dream, a symbol of style and desire,… here reinterpreted through industrial and imperfect elements. The contrast between the raw materials and the refinement of the subject speaks to my desire to give new life to what is considered waste, blending art, mechanics, and dreams into a single vision.
