About this artwork
It's a composition of salvaged steel shavings on a black background: a horse in full leap, its mane reflecting the light like a silver wind. I used this waste material to transform it into a symbol of freedom and power. Only when we are free do we achieve our greatest goals.
The work is simultaneously a message: what was once industrial waste becomes a living body, a sign of rebirth and resilience. The choice of "waste" materials speaks of reuse… and the poetry that is possible in discarded things; the light that passes through the mane invites us to see beauty where we least expect it and to believe that, by freeing ourselves from constraints, we can achieve our greatest goals.
