About this artwork
I modeled a Moon with scraps of blue steel, marble dust, and a final layer of epoxy resin that gives it shine and depth. The textured surface recreates craters and reliefs, while the metallic blue fades into the underlying black. The Black Moon is also deeply moving because it evokes mystery, silence, and an intimate poetry that transforms rejection into contemplation.
