About this artwork
Part of a series, Falls II is inspired by the waterfalls of Iguazú, Argentina. The sheer volume of water is breathtaking, and I wanted to capture both its power and constant movement in this painting. Water is a recurring theme in my work, representing a vital source of life and its fundamental role within ecosystems. The triangular, rainbow prisms are a motif I return to frequently, symbolising balance and the idea of trinity expressed through colour.
