"Trace of Silence" is a slow painting. It was not created by impulse, but by observation.
I didn't just move paint—I listened to it.
Using targeted airflow and a thin-layer technique, I create structures that resemble sediments, like maps of past conditions. Some lines appear like geological formations, others like river courses or veins beneath the surface.
Trace of Silence unfolds a calm, almost meditative presence in the room. The restrained… color scheme combined with the finely branched structures creates a visual stillness that nevertheless feels profound.
The work is particularly suited to clear, minimalist spaces – there its quiet power becomes palpable. It appears not decorative, but contemplative: like a place in the picture where the gaze comes to rest.
This work is my response to noise – both inside and out.
It's not about control, it's about resonance.
