"Echo Loss" Something was there. Then it was just a trace. Echo loss isn't a loud image—but it carries the reverberations within it. Lines that break off. Fields that dissolve. Zones of color that flicker briefly and then disappear, as if a thought had withdrawn before it was fully thought through.
This work revolves around absence. About that which is still perceptible even though it seems long gone. For me, it's not an attempt to capture something—rather,… it's a letting go that has become a picture. Without pathos. Only presence in the moment afterward.
Effect in space
Echo loss works not through presence, but through resonance. It doesn't demand attention—it draws it. Its silent dissolution creates a concentration that doesn't oppress, but rather illuminates.
In open, quiet spaces, it functions like an afterthought: reduced, thoughtful, unexplained. It lingers – exactly where you least expect it.
