Core voltage
The core tension was created in several superimposed layers of paint that overlapped to produce a multi-layered depth. Using my Air Motion Painting technique, I guide liquid acrylic paint across the canvas with targeted streams of air.
The lines converge from different directions, intersect, and create a dense field of tension. Dark depths and golden accents merge into an energetic center from which the dynamism unfolds across the… entire picture plane.
For me, this work is a visual translation of inner forces – that tension between movement and stillness, control and letting go.
