Opus XIV – Golden Currents is a sculptural abstract painting where color, texture and light collide. The entire surface is built with heavy colored modeling paste, hand‑sculpted with a palette knife into raised, organic forms that invite you to explore them up close.

Each shape becomes its own territory: deep black, soft white, muted greens, warm beige and violet hues flow together, then separate again as delicate gold lines trace their borders.… These golden contours act like energetic veins, mapping invisible currents that run through the piece.

Art is my new beginning.
My name is Sotiris Christodoulou, a Greek contemporary artist working primarily with acrylics on canvas.

After many life experiences and personal storms at the age of 52, I made a clear decision: to dedicate myself fully to what I have always loved most — creating.

My work explores rhythm, geometry, balance, and energetic connections through abstract compositions. Each piece is part of my ongoing Opus series, where form and color interact like a living visual language.

I began this focused artistic journey recently, and within a short period I have completed multiple original works, each one reflecting growth, discipline, and passion.
Every painting is an original, hand-crafted artwork, finished with care and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
