About this artwork
In "Isolation No. 3", I construct a dense space where the forms seem assembled around a fragile balance. Circles, semicircles, rectangles and vertical lines approach, overlap or align, while remaining enclosed within their own limits.
At the center, the yellow triangle creates a point of tension: it visually connects the elements without managing to abolish the distance between them. The bold colors transform this feeling of confinement and give… each form a unique presence.
Through this collage, I evoke a contemporary solitude made up of thwarted intimacy, suspended relationships, and sometimes invisible boundaries. Geometry then becomes a sensitive language, in which the apparent order reveals a tension between the desire for connection and isolation.
