About this artwork
Derived connection is part of my research around the notions of connection, transformation and balance between forms.
I construct this work using a simple geometric vocabulary—arcs, circles, solid surfaces—to create tension between elements that assemble, extend, and modify each other. The forms seem to emerge from one another, as if each fragment bore the trace of a displacement or a variation.
The omnipresent red acts as an active field within… which the black and beige forms are inscribed, creating zones of contact, rupture, or continuity. The whole generates a fluid movement of the gaze, between structural stability and perceptual shifts.
Through this composition, I explore a form of visual derivation, a system where the connection does not disappear, but transforms, moves, and produces new relationships.
