About this artwork
This piece is an example of the root of my work over the past 8 years. As a slightly colorblind artist, for the first many years creating I generally gravitated towards a warm and monotone palette. It allows for the attention to be focused on the organic oxidation and delicate shapes and lines created from the oxidation process. For myself, it stands as a reminder to slow down.
