« My perception of the world is always from a comical point of view. I have reached the conclusion for myself, that what matters the most, is the human ability to laugh. »
Steven Lamb is an award-winning artist based in Canada whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States and Brazil. Creating in a distinctive style which he describes as being both whimsical and grotesque, he views his works as a tool for social commentary, not to criticize, but rather, to amuse and entertain. Lamb takes viewers on a journey through the streets of Montreal and Paris, often portraying café scenes, circuses, musicians, and clowns.
