About this artwork
The painting "Windy" was created on a round canvas and shines in a bright yellow – a color that for me embodies sunshine, joy, and happiness. It expresses my optimism and zest for life. The numbers 3 and 6 have a special meaning in this painting: I live at number 3, on the 6th floor, and my studio, number 3, is on the roof of the building. The numbers reflect the three circles arranged one above the other. They have a diameter of 3 cm, 6 cm, and…
3 cm. Circles represent harmony, without beginning or end. They express my feeling of living in a house connected to my painting. The yellow of the sun is interrupted by the wind, which is particularly noticeable on the roof. I depict the gusts of wind in paths that traverse the yellow of the sun. This creates a special movement within the yellow, just as my life is in constant motion.
