About this artwork
Ich habe dieses runde Bild bewusst schlicht und grafisch gehalten. Als Hintergrund habe ich ein ruhiges Hellblau gewählt, damit das Motiv klar im Vordergrund steht. In die Mitte habe ich eine große, paprika- bzw. kürbisähnliche Form gesetzt und sie in Grau- und Weißtönen mit sichtbaren Pinselzügen und weichen Schattierungen aufgebaut, damit sie trotz der reduzierten Farbpalette Volumen bekommt.
Die knallpinke Kontur habe ich absichtlich als starken… Kontrast eingesetzt – sie gibt dem Motiv einen modernen, poppigen Charakter und trennt Form und Hintergrund deutlich voneinander. Den Stiel habe ich in kräftigem Grün gemalt und leicht gebogen nach links geführt, um Bewegung in die Komposition zu bringen. Insgesamt wollte ich eine Mischung aus Minimalismus und Neon-Akzenten schaffen: ruhig in der Fläche, aber mit einem klaren, auffälligen Statement.
