For us : All Dressed up and Nowhere to go.
A phrase that starts to become so familiar
All is so peculiar
We long to see foreign places
To pack up our cases
To take a plane or a bus
All in a rush
Oh the excitement!
But now we have a predicament
The government says:
Don’t go out
The virus will get you without a doubt
Stay indoors
Stay apart
Don’t fly
Don’t sing,
Don’t run
Where… is our fun?
I wish I could see the virus so that I could dodge it
Just for a little bit.
I start to dream of a French town
People walking around
No restrictions
And awful predictions.
Hope it will be soon that we can walk our dream
That all will not stay just a scheme.

Will you also steal our fun?
Silently and obedient I will wait.
To see the world’s fate
