The Chimera is generally considered to be female. The Chimera was a harbinger of storms, shipwrecks, and natural disasters, especially volcanic ones.
It is a deity born from the collision between rock, water, air and imagination — a spirit of the elements.
This geological mask, born from the depths, is the guardian of thresholds, the memory of disasters, the hallucinatory vision of what humans project… onto unleashed nature. It is also the archaic breath of life.
