About this artwork
The painting was made to order, the sketch was made according to the description of the customer's feelings. The task was to portray an encounter with one's own shadow. Familiarity and acceptance of the shadow part of the personality. The hand touches the shadow in a friendly way against a background of flowers, symbolising the fullness of life when one accepts all facets of one's personality.

Tanya Golodynska is a Ukrainian artist whose works transform floral motifs into meditative explorations of emotions, presence, and inner energy. A graduate of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, she combines precision with freedom of painterly expression, creating large-format oil paintings that balance delicacy and power.
Tanya's compositions reveal the harmonious interaction of dynamic floral forms and multi-layered textures, with each brushstroke reflecting patience, concentration, and a personal dialogue with the canvas. Her works embody the quiet power, emotional depth, and lyrical beauty of nature, offering viewers the intimacy of contemplation.
In 2023, Tanya’s large-format painting "Full of Life" (oil on canvas, 150×100 cm) was presented at the London Art Biennale under the name Tetiana Rybina.
In 2024-25 – participants in numerous all-Ukrainian exhibitions.
