About this artwork
In this watercolor painting I explore the fluid and unpredictable nature of our emotions. The abstract shapes and lines, mixed with soft yet intense color transitions, represent the dynamic landscape of our inner experiences. This work is intended to invite viewers to explore the depth of their own emotionality and to recognize the beauty in the complexity of their feelings.
« Art is much more to me than just a job or a passion. It is like a friend, an advisor and a guide. Art is simply my life. »
Thomas Hain, a visual artist who focuses on painting and was inspired by a formative encounter with art in Italy. He experiments with the glazing technique on heavy, self-stretched canvases and creates relief-like surfaces by scratching, rolling and spatulas that create a tangible tension between form and color. His works radiate a dynamic calm and convey the balance between destruction and creation, which transports the viewer into the unique moment of creation.
