About this artwork
The role models for the three boys come from the photo book "Exactitudes". In this picture you present yourself with a sweater that makes you recognizable as a community and yet is individually different. In this spectator position of their community, very different emotions become visible, such as pride, doubt but also self-confidence. The title refers to a famous picture by Barnett Newman and rather describes the vague basic feeling of the trio.
« I like art that combines old and new, is professionally made, has a sense of humor, arouses curiosity, makes you smarter, and which you never forget. »
