About this artwork
Similar to "Night Song," "Fragments" is about the moon, our eternal companion, and the multitude of emotions that humanity associates with it. Looking up at the moon at night might evoke hope or sorrow. Therefore, I don't want to prescribe what emotions I associate with this image, but rather leave that space for each viewer to interpret.
